OTWK + Coldsmoke

I can finally tell you what I've been up to lately! One of my new art projects.

Tomorrow morning Eric Beckstead and myself are dropping the teaser for the video project, the Whistler Alternative Lifestyle Video Magazine, we are working on. Under the Off The Wall Kids, OTWK, label from Coldsmoke (http://www.coldsmokeco.com).

Those were really tough times, but finally life told me that I'm not done here in Canada. Very close to D-day, I got my work permit approved. I'm staying!

Welcome to my world.

I made raw sushi tonight, turned out super yummy. No rice, just lots of delicious veggies, cilantro, and chili. Everything uncooked of course. A kitchen towel worked okay, but gotta get myself a bambo mat.

Apart from making this, today I've been snowboarding powder for 5 hours. Very fun day even though the Alpine didn't open (avalanche danger too high). Also, got my legs soaked in a creek, not super fun (spring conditions up there). After my friend Eric and I worked on our new art project. Had a meeting with an art galley, and schedule some shooting. Quite productive hah.

Now some cuddling time with the little princess. She's been staring at me quite a while now, of course I can't resist.

The blog have been neglected the past few months. Sorry blog, sorry everyone. Sometimes life spins faster and you don't have enough time. But I'm working on a new photo project which will be completed in about a month. So stay tuned!

December is all about hard work here in Whistler. The town is packed with tourists that wanna spend money and be entertained, which is great for business. I try to squeeze in as much snowboarding as possible as well, so there's not much time left for other things. Like photography, blogging etc. Easiest way to find me at the moment is on instagram (username: annalengstrand).

I'm making a slide show about the brewery, for the brewery. Supposed to play it on the screens in the tap house (my dear tap house). Besides work and craft beer, I've been snowboarding almost every day. And hanging out. Eating good food, drinking tea, sipping wine, taking walks in the snow, and spending time with people that makes me happy.

Opening day of Whistler Mountain today, this image was shoot 3 hrs ago. It's very little snow, and the rain is pouring. BUT, this means the powder is on it's way as well! Had a great morning up there playing around with friends. Winter is here!

Took my photo exhibition down last Sunday, sold couple of the images. Now it's time to prepare for the next one.
